(A Special School for the children with Autism, Celebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities)
ABOUT US
Regional Rehabilitation and Research Center (RRRC) is a non- profit NGO working for the welfare, development and empowerment of persons with disabilities since 1993. This is one of few NGO in the country, which is working in tribal dominated Sundargarh, Deoagarh and Jharsuguda districts of Orissa State. In the year 2000, the organization started a Special School for the children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities. (ASHADFEEP) at AM-84, Basanti Colony, Rourkela, Dist- Sundargarh, Orissa to cater to the educational, therapeutical, social and economical needs of those special children. The school was started with 13 children and now 45 children are taking various services from the school. The school has experienced professionals like Special Educator, Physiotherapist, Speech Therapist, Child Specialist, Psychologist, Orthotist etc to deal with above Special children and their parents. The basic objective of the school is to make Special children and their parents able to face various challenges they would face in their life.

BENEFECIARIES
Under this project, 45 children are being benefited with immediate implementation of the Special Software.

ACTIVITIES / ACHIEVEMENT
i) Assistance to Disabled Persons for Purchase/ Fitting of Aids/ Appliances.
ii) Community Based Rehabilitation Programme.
iii) Caregivers training programme.
iv) Our School received awards for outstanding performances in Anjali Programme organized by Government of Orissa in 2004.
v) Our organization is the active member of Local Level Committee of National Trust, New Delhi.
vi) Our students received awards by participating in district level sports in 2003 & 2004.
