ABOUT US

Asha Special School is a non-profit voluntary organization to provide educational & vocational training to the children with disability of deaf & mentally retarded. It was started initially with two children in the year 1995. Now the strength has increased to 100 children supported by a dozen of staff members & dedicated experts like Special Educators. It aims at making children trained for their rehabilitation.

1. Child health programme.

5. Integration with normal school.

6. Asha Special School received best athlete award for juniors in Nehru Stadium (2004).

7. Our student bagged second prize in dance,drawing & painting competition organised by St Marks Organization.

8. About 20 former students are self employed.

9. About 10 students are working as electrician, tailor and dress designer.
