An Institution for Children with Special Needs (Mentally Challenged)
ABOUT US
Ek Prayaas is a non profit Organisation run by a registered NGO - Social Action Group (Societies Registration Act no. 201 of 1998-99). The main aim is to drill into fellow citizens a sense of moral responsibility towards these Special Children. Ek Prayaas started in two rooms rented accomodation with two children. At present, we have 42 regular students and 10 as home management cases. We have evening classes for early intervention and borderline cases. Besides the Principal, we have 4 Special Educators, 7 teachers and 4 helpers. A team of experts - Clinical Psychologist, Paediatrician, Endocunologist, Homoeopathy Doctor and Yoga teacher pay regular visit.

10. Training for Special Olympics and other Sports & Games.
BENEFECIARIES
Under this project, 32 children are being benefited with immediate implementation of the Special Software.

7. Received Sh. Nand Lal Ahuja Memorial Award by Distt Youth Congress (Urban), Ludhiana.
8 .Appreciation Award by GGN Khalsa College, Ludhiana and Rotary Club (Rotary Ludhiana North).
