Our Vision: of radiating the compassionate love of Jesus, to the rejected sections of the society is realized through our committed and selfless services among these disabled and reaching the unreached and making them useful citizens of our country.
Our Goal; Our Mission is achieved by conducting:
1. Awareness seminars and workshops for parents of disabled children to build positive attitudes in accepting their children and helping them to cope up with daily problems.
2. Vocational training gives opportunities to make them self-sufficient and gainfully employed.
3. Educating and rehabilitating the adult Mentally Handicapped men and women to acquire useful skills.
At present, we have 150 students studying in our Institution. 100 in the Special School and 50 in our workshop and they are accepted as day scholars. 25 teaching and non teaching staff, continuously work for the upliftment of these children. We divided the students in different groups like pre-nursery, nursery, primary, secondary, pre-vocational and vocational level. We could see remarkable changes in their cognitive skills, communication skills, psycho-social skills and self help skills.
We celebrate Independence day, Republic day, National day for the Mentally Handicapped, Diwali, Christmas in a fitting manner.By seeing their performance, we are forced to say that they are not disabled but differently abled. Students participate in various competition like sports, fancy dress, exhibition, flower show, dance, music etc. They always give us the message "Give us opportunity not pity". A new venture in the year 2004, our students learned the display of band set.
We thank GOD for all the blessings and recommend ourselves to His continuous guidance.
