ABOUT US

Rotary Institute is a Voluntary Organization registered under Charitable Societies Act of 1965 and since then, it is serving the Mentally Challenged children. Initially it had only 12 children and now the capacity had increased to 163, supported by 36 staff members who are dedicated. Our Institute aims at making parents aware of the child with Special needs and making each child independent.
FACILITIES OFFERED


Rotary Institute in its early days provided day care services but gradually, it started residential facility. It not only imparts Special education but also provides vocational training.The Institute gives more emphasis on Sports and Cultural activities. It provides facilities like:

1. Hostel facilities

2. Vocational facilities

3. Placement services

4. Sports and Cultural activities

5. Therapies - Physio, Speech, Dance, Music etc.

6. Yoga

7. Transport facilities

Under this project, 35 children are being benefited with immediate implementation of the Special software.

1. Best Special School Award ( 2003 - 2004)

2. Mrs. MollyKutty, our matron won the award for 25 yrs dedicated service in 2004

3. Won Runner - up trophy for Special Olympics - 2001

4. Best Special School Award from Balakalosavam in 2003

5. Mr. Shameem, joined as a student 10 yrs back and now serving the Institute as an employee.
