ABOUT US
We started this Institution in Nov, 1991 with the intention to give all type of facility to Mentally Challenged children of all level needed for them like Day Care School, trained them in Pre – Vocational Center, trained them in Sports and Cultural Activities giving them Fun and Joy. We have land but due to shortage of funds, building Construction work is held up for which we need Financial support for the construction of Physiotherapy center, Girls Hostel, Speech Therapy Center, Entertainment hall and so on.
FACILITIES OFFERED
i) We have Day Care school in which, we run classes from Nursery level to Pre - Primary education.
ii) Self - help Trg in which, we give training to children to do their own work like toileting, taking bath, dressing up, eating manners, washing and cleaning own things etc.
iii) Pre - Vocational Training - we trained them to make Aggarbattis, Candles, Chair Canning, Screen Printing, Binding work, Gardening work, Kitchen work, Bed - making etc.
iv) Hostel facility is given to those children whose parents find it hard to educate problematic child at home, those staying at for places, children from other states and to those children whose daily routine work has to be disciplined.
v) Life long shelter - In this shelter, we give help to those parents who are fed- up with their children, to those children who do not have any one to look after them, to those children who are from poor families and can be made self – dependent, to those children whose parents are grown old and cannot depend on their siblings or any other person who can look after their Special child.
vi) We try to give our children fun and entertainment and also trained them in Sports and Cultural Activities. One child from our school has participated in International world summer Olympics and she has won two silver medals.
vii) Children who are able to do work (Borderline) we keep them in Caretaker’s departments suitable to them and pay them stipends.
viii) Under National Trust, we are given Authorisation as members of Local Level Committee and we give legal Guardianship to children who are above 18 years.
ix) We also give Education and Moral thinking to our children through Computer Education given to us by Care ‘N’ Cure Charitable Society, New-Delhi.
BENEFECIARIES
Under this project, 60 children are being benefited with immediate implementation of the Special Software.

ACTIVITIES / ACHIEVEMENT
i) We take our children for outings and picnics.
ii) We conduct Drawing competitions for all school (normal) children in our own school and try to create integration with our children.
iii) We permit normal school NSS, NCC and club children to interact with our children.
iv) We celebrate International Women-Day for our Mother parents and keep competitions like Sports, Rangoli and Cooking.
v) We celebrate World Disabled Day by organizing Party for our children.
Achievements:i) Ms. P.R. Shirke received Best Social Worker Award from Orissa Samaj on the Occasion of Rath yatra in the year 1996.
ii) Awarded by Shiv shakti Mahilla Samiti for Best Social Worker Award in the year 2004 on International Women’s Day.
iii) Awarded by Maharashtra Mandal Best Social Worker Award - 2004 on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
iv) Ms. P.R. Shirke - honoured by Bhilai Steel Plant on Teacher’s Day in the year 2004.
v) Ms. P.R. Shirke- honoured by State Bank of India and Rashtriya Sewa Yojna - Jilla Durg.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO HELP
You may help us by:
1. We need help for the Construction of School building in which we need 10-12 classrooms at least 15/ 15 size. Accommodating 10 – 15 children with Almirah’s, Black Boards and Glass Racks for keeping toys.
2. Entertainment Hall with a stage accommodating 250- 300 people, which can be also used for Indoor Games like Badminton and Carroms.
3. Mess Room with attached kitchen room, storeroom and washing utensils place.
4. Diesel Vehicle for School children accommodating 25-30 students.
5. Girls Hostel for 20-25 children with attached toilets and Bathrooms and T. V. Hall.
6. Financial Support for meeting payments of staff salaries and Hostel workers at least Rs.3lacs to 4lacs in a year.
